A continent of football lovers fills its streets every season in another nation's colours, while its own leagues play to empty stands. The easy verdict calls that a colonised mind and shames the fan. The Sovereign Pitch refuses it. The fan is not colonised; the fan is rational, and the devotion of a hundred million people every weekend is the most honest consumer review ever written, a verdict on institutions that took the people's game and gave nothing back. The extraction is real, but it was enabled from inside, by those who held the mandate, the budgets and the decades, and chose themselves. This strand moves the accusation from the supporter to the steward, names where the value left and who held the mandate while it did, and then, because The Multiverse does not stop at anger, tables the structure that brings it home.
The strand runs in three series. The Captive Audience makes the public case, acquitting the fan and mapping what leaves the continent every season through screens, betting slips and the sale of its own children. Render the Accounts is the forensic core, reconciling mandate against delivery across the federations, the confederation and the development funds, dossier by sourced dossier. The Sovereign Pitch, held in the Vault, converts the record into instruments: eight working documents that take a league from a trustworthy constitution to the proposal a government, federation or investor actually signs. Its public voice is a podcast in the author's own hand, opening on the joy before it turns to the accounting, every figure spoken with its source beneath it. Across it runs one recurring device, Imagine That, in which the record gives way to a future where the accountability laws already exist: addressed always to the office and never to the person, because those statutes are not imagination. They are drafted, and they are waiting.

The diagnosis and the front door. The Captive Audience honours the joy of the win in full, then turns the accusation around: the supporter conducted forty years of due diligence and chose the product that kept its promises, which is not colonisation but consumer protection. Its public tier carries the celebration, the argument and the money map across eight podcast episodes and their companion essays; its Builder tier carries the full broadcast, betting and talent economics. It ends by reading the charge sheet into the record and handing over to the accounting.
Series Two: Render the Accounts · Builder
The indictment. Render the Accounts is the forensic core of the strand, seven dossiers reconciling what each institution was given against what it delivered, country by country and body by body, every claim sourced and status-labelled, the adjudicated never blended with the alleged. It closes each dossier on a standing schedule of mandate against delivery, the strand's most shareable artefact and a reusable tool any citizen can turn on any federation. It is held to investigative standard and to the strand's standing rule: no named-party content is published before review by a qualified solicitor.
Series Three: The Sovereign Pitch · Vault
The rebuild and the destination. The Vault delivers the working architecture: eight instruments covering governance, broadcast rights, ownership and franchise economics, the academy-as-school, infrastructure financing, the law of the build, the recovery of money the rules already owe African clubs, and the master proposal that ties them into one signature. Builder analysis names the problem; the Vault delivers the instruments that solve it, with a commercial layer built for sale to governments, federations and investors and an advisory pathway for those who want the architects in the room.
